CARIOCA
Throughout, my studies as a Master student in Communication Design, we were taught on how to use editorial design. Indeed, as a designer, it is important to understand theories on compositions and layout to be able to create advertising posters. This first poster used graphic composition, which allows me to communicate specific ideas with abstract forms. Therefore, these two posters aimed to represent the Brazilian visual identity following the style of pavement that we can find in Rio de Janeiro. Moreover, with the choice of the colours, I wanted to emphasize the relationship of Brazil with nature through the fluidity of the waves and the rhythm of samba and jazz.
